The lighting effects of the classic version and the light-controlled version are the same, and both normally require USB interface or AAA battery power supply. The difference is that in the light-controlled version, we have added an additional photosensitive element, and you can control the switch through gesture occlusion or changes in light, which is more interesting than the classic version.
